The Companion Groups Directory in Needles allows groups of cases to be created where cases that share a common cause of action, common parties, or other common relationship can be linked together. Once the cases are created, the Companion Cases feature cross-references the cases for use when copying and moving items to other cases. The groups can be used for generating mass merge mailings, such as letters and forms, as well as for selection criteria in reports.
The Header Band across the top of the directory window allows you to display or hide the left-hand grid pane using the Hide/Show List button. Navigation buttons are available to easily page through the members in other groups using the navigation arrows. The total number of groups and the number of the current group is displayed.
